So I have the jbp that has one candle with a pink thing growing off it . I’ve never seen or heard of such a thing .what is it and should I be concerned about it?

It is a female seed cone. The male pollen cones are found along the lower part of a candle.

Ahh well at least it’s not a bad thing should I remove it and if so when?

Do you want a cone for the display or perhaps seed? If so, leave it.

Otherwise remove it to push the strength into the growth even if you plan to decandle.

Well I need the strength for back bidding so odd it goes lol
