Got this Elaeagnus x ebbingei from Lowe’s for $16. Hard to to tell from the picture, but it has a nice flaring nebari and decent movement in the trunk. Some funky branches with some cool dog-legs in them in the right places.
I could put it into the ground to let it thicken a bit, but I kinda like its current proportions. It’ll either go into a pot or development box this spring.
Side note; the little berries are quite delicious. Kinda tastes like raspberry. I looked up whether or not they were edible before I tried one lol.
