Needlecast on Colorado Spruce

Is this a type of needlecast on a Colorado spruce? I’m not sure because it doesn’t appear to match up with other photos I’ve seen and it hasn’t progressed very quickly. This is from a collected tree that I have owned for one year.

Hi Jim!

Is this present pretty evenly throughout the whole tree, or just in a few spots/branches?

From this photo, it looks more like minor stress/weathering, maybe mites? I’d keep an eye on whether it’s spreading and check for any fine webbing.

Hopefully someone else here might be able to correctly identify it, cheers!

It’s on a few spots and branches. Last year’s growth doesn’t have it. I was thinking it could be stress because it’s been that way since last summer and I don’t think it’s gotten much worse. I believe it was collected at least two years ago. I haven’t seen any mass needles turn brown.
