Merry bonsai Christmas from VA! Santa saw fit to drop off some callus mate and a fine tooth folding saw. Also, a local nursery had some amazing holly trees marked down. Hopefully I’ll nab a spot on the next forum Q&A to show mine off and ask some questions about turning it into a bonsai!

My wife got me two books of interest to this group. Meetings with Remarkable Trees and Around the World in 80 Trees. The former has some great pictures of old gnarly trees from the British Isles while the later covers iconic species from different countries.
