I collected a Loblolly three years ago from my parents’ farm, and it’s just now beginning to gain strength. It’s still in the same soil it was growing in at the time of collection (clay and sand). I started a pretty heavy fertilizer regimen last season, and I’m going to grow it out this year, and then try a repot into bonsai soil early next spring. They’re pretty particular, and it seems like they take a while to get back on their feet. A lot of it could also be that my bonsai knowledge wasn’t very good three years ago, lol :joy:

If you zoom in on the left on the furthest bench, you’ll just be able to see it.
