One of my RMJ’s has a scale infestation. Most of the scales are dry but there are some that are not and they still have the insect in it. What is the best treatment? Dormant oil spray later in the season?
I didn’t see any crawlers at this time (early October)

Did you ever find a solution? I have a similar problem on my California Juniper.
I did not find a solution. I’d love to know what can be done but it must not be a common issue. I didn’t use dormant oil. I read that it can be very bad for Junipers. I started using a systemic treatment for all my junipers but I don’t know yet how effective it is.
