I just listened to the May 2018 podcast with Dennis Vojtilla.
He mentions that too much pre-harvest rain dilutes the sugar in his grapes.
I wondered if anyone had noticed a similar effect on fall colour in Japanese Maples.
Is it possible that either reduced water or a slight foliage reduction would concentrate the sugars in maple leaves?
