Douglas/Korean fir

Have watched Ryans video about Douglas fir, have read a lot about it and now would like to know if i can apply the same principle to Korean fir?

Douglas Fir is not a true fir (scientific name Pseudotsuga Menziesii) and while it acts similarly, it’s not the same and has special nuances.

If you look for the subalpine fir stream, I believe he mentions that a lot of true firs (Abies genus) can handled similarly to that.

Here is the link, the name is a bit deceptive.

Many thank. Hope that he mentions when to prune or repot it. Internet is a bit low on fir bonsai advices.

Yes, repot right as the buds are starting to swell (and show a little green) in the spring. I believe he also talks about best times for pruning (and also the stream was in July and he mentions that it was NOT an ideal time for pruning/styling work, but it can be done if you are careful).
