can anybody point me to a stream or feature that covers how to encourage back budding on elongating species (in may case Korean Fir)? Wasn’t really able to find anything yet and I kind of abandoned the strategy where I start watching videos that I think might cover it if you know what I mean…
Elongating species all sort of work differently in terms of backbuds. You could look at the fir/abies videos (there are too many) as Ryan says they all act very similarly.
I don’t have a Korean fir but my subalpine firs always backbud like crazy, with no encouragement needed from me.
