NICE MOSS! I use my 5 piece classifier screen sifting set to shred the moss and remove the soil.
Then I shred the sphagnum in an equal amount and keep in a container to be used when I repot or need a touch up for the surface treatment.
And, if I find myself near a mountain stream, I can pan for gold!! I use the 1/12 to sift the smallest soil particles (not significantly different from 1/16) and to collect the moss without the soil. If the soil is sandy, may need to sift to 1/8.
Not sure if they make metric gold panning sifters.
