Has anyone experience thread grafting chinese elm?
I’m getting close to the conclusion that I’m going to need to perform some thread grafts to add branches to an old trunk.
My question if you have done it, will they be prone to producing large swelling/callus at the graft site in time? Effectively creating a large ugly bulge at the branch shoulder?
