Greetings from Germany on a beautiful sunny day

Twist the branch with the wire direction as you bend, this tighten the wire to help support the bend. This is why the wire is wrapped around the branch or trunk in a specific direction. You must watch the wire application streams. Then go out in the garden and get some cuttings to play with…Ryan makes it look simple, but it is not. The more you do the more confidence you will get. Have fun and enjoy.

I started with bright copper wire reclaimed from electrical cable, as it was the cheepest thing about. But once you have removed the plastic and un coiled it as it is usually a 7 wire coil the wire is very stiff. Now i find bending wire really easy, the copper bonsai wire to me is like bending aluminium. Keep going, this is a really good start.

Thanks Robin,

I will do that
Say. Do you know what we can do with the used copper wire? Throwing it away seems like an awful lot of waste…

Little update. The tip of the leaves are turning yellow/brownish.
Is this due to the pinching I did or is something wrong with my tree?

Thanks guys!

They might be brown cos of pinching cos you should be cutting not pinching.
