Bonsai Shuffle or Heatbed?

I have an outdoor heatbed with a late spring blizzard and temperatures in the low 20s coming up. In the heatbed is a recently repotted Japanese black pine and repotted Japanese Maple. Would it be best to leave them on the heatbed as long as the roots stay warm or should I do the shuffle into a garage to protect the JBP needles and new buds on maple and not have roots heated for a day? Thoughts or questions would be appreciated.

I would either shuffle or cover the trees in the heat bed to keep the new buds from freezing. You need them to drive the new root growth.

Thanks all for insight, brought inside and glad I did. Winds hit 60mph and it’s been raining for hours.

Yikes. Well I’ll say this it’s better to be conservative often a day or two indoors might have been unnecessary but the time it matters it really matters.
