Husband and father of 3 boys, City of Sandy Public Utility worker, 20 year volunteer firefighter at Sandy Fire District 72, I live in Sandy Oregon between Portland and Mt Hood about the 1,000ft level.

I am a member of Bonsai Sociaty of Portland (BSOP) since February of 2017 and was when I really dove into bonsai after wanting to do it for 20ish years. Only to my surprise this guy stated presenting at the club, Ryan Neil and his garden Mirai was starting a year long course of presentations with us. Ryan’s style I fell in love with and have been a tier 3 Mirai Live member since March of 2017.

Over the year of 2017 I have bought nursery stock, trees through BSOP and collect a few trees with much Mirai inspiration and anticipation of what bonsai will evolve with me and America. I was fortunate my wife set me up with a visit to Mirai for my birthday and they even asked if I wanted to stay for the live stream. Pretty cool to get a early happy birthday from Ryan and the rest of the Mirai crew on the February 6th live stream in studio.
