This from a fencepost cut from a nearby willow around 1934 or so. The remaining posts can be seen at “low tide”. The rise it grows on is covered by water most of the time but at the right time can appear on an island that, to me, appears much like a small pot. Designed by the Master himself it looks (to me, anyway) like a fine example of bonsai.
