# Ume repotting before or after flowering?

Should you repot ume before the flowers open or right after?

After the flowers are spent is the optimal time to work the roots and re-pot Ume. This is usually a span of time, depending on the vigor of your Ume. Best done before it begins to push its spring flush of foliage.
