# Salt cedar points

I dug two salt cedars or tamerisk very little root system, drilled 12 1/2 in holes in the tote made the soil mix, expanded shale and sifted pine bark mulch, pumice, warrior mix blend, valcanic marbles for drainage, the totes are 5 gal,then i got 12 gallon totes no holes put 2 hudge rock to level up the small totes filled with water , put an air stone in the water turn the pump on, keeping it in the shade will this hydroponic method help the tree, and later on when i start styleing the tree ,the branches are so long and stiff very brital ,how would i style these trees all the help is very appreciatetive.

Also do i need to remove some,all or none of the foliage remember very little root system.
