# Pot Selection for my big Coast Redwood

I’m looking to repot my big Coast Redwood soon, and thought I’d get it into something nicer than this old plastic bonsai pot. I’d love to hear your thoughts on pot shape, color and size. If left to my own devices I’d probably put it into the same shape/size/color as it is in now, just ceramic.

I think the size and shape, relatively straight lined rectangle, are the way I’d go. Unglazed, dark, similar in color too. But, man seeing that other piece with it looks like an amazing forest composition—spun 180 degrees and on the right side perhaps?

Great material and carving!
