# Ponderosa Pine styling help

Hey everyone,

I was wondering what people thought about getting rid of the jin that crosses over the trunk right under the needles. On one hand I was trying to frame the twisted portion of the trunk but on the other hand it crosses over a major curve that is interesting. Would love any opinions thanks everyone!

I’d try to steam bend it first as Marty mentioned. Then if that failed you could always remove it
